What is one piece of advice you’d share with expecting parents of their first child?
Find some appropriate books for newborns and toddlers to start reading during pregnancy.

Be an advocate for your child!
I am always concerned about how children with disabilities, such as autism, are approached in schools. I would advise parents to talk to the teachers and/or administrators and find out how they are inclusive of children with disabilities.

Recommend a book, article or podcast in the child development space for families to read or listen to.
This is an absolutely amazing resource for every parent who would like to set up their child for success in reading: Helping Your Child Become a Reader.

What is your go-to parenting hack?
One thing that’s important and helps me a lot in parenting is to really slow down and equip myself with patience and a soft and loving voice.
