How this curriculum works:
This curriculum is a 9-module program. Each week there is a different theme: kindness, feelings, manners, respect, empathy and courage and each theme has a corresponding book.
Each lesson has been purposefully designed as a mini-lesson, ranging from 5 to 30 minutes in length, and can be implemented throughout the day, flexibly fitting into your classroom schedule. Each theme could be spread over a month, where this curriculum becomes a guide to inspire you to infuse social and emotional learning in your classroom.
Philosophy: play-based, hands-on, engagement through active learning.
We follow the CASEL framework to foster knowledge, skills, and attitudes across five areas of social and emotional competence: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
